A law firm seeks a dedicated Associate Attorney to join its Torts & Products Liability Defense Practice Area in Albany, NY. This position is an excellent opportunity for a seasoned attorney with a passion for litigation and a desire to make a significant impact in the field.

Duties:

• Represent clients in tort and product liability cases, focusing on personal injury and professional malpractice actions.
• Conduct legal research and prepare comprehensive legal documents, including pleadings and motions.
• Develop and implement effective defense strategies tailored to client needs.
• Communicate effectively with clients to provide updates and manage expectations throughout the litigation process.
• Collaborate with team members to ensure the highest quality of legal service.
• Appear in both New York State and federal courts on behalf of clients.
• Maintain up-to-date knowledge of relevant laws and regulations impacting torts and products liability.

Requirements:

• Must be licensed to practice law in New York State.
• A minimum of five years of litigation experience, preferably in torts and products liability.
• Exceptional verbal and written communication skills.
• Proven ability to work directly with clients and develop strategic service approaches.
• Experience in handling cases in both New York State and federal courts is preferred.

Education:

• Juris Doctor (JD) from an accredited law school.

Certifications:

• Active membership in the New York State Bar is required.
