Duties:

• Handle civil litigation matters involving transportation law, product liability, and general liability

• Conduct and defend depositions independently and effectively

• Represent clients in court appearances and pretrial conferences

• Participate in mediation and settlement negotiations

• Draft and argue motions, including motions for summary judgment

• Analyze legal issues and develop case strategies

• Collaborate with internal teams and maintain communication with clients and stakeholders

• Maintain and manage caseload with minimal supervision

Requirements:

• Experience in civil defense litigation

• Proficient in handling depositions, court hearings, and motion practice

• Demonstrated ability to manage cases from inception through trial preparation

• Strong legal research, writing, and analytical skills

• Ability to prioritize tasks and meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment

Education:

• Juris Doctor (JD) from an accredited law school

Certifications:

• Active license in good standing with the California State Bar

Skills:
