Job Overview

A law firm seeks an experienced Real Estate Lawyer in Boca Raton, FL. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in real estate, corporate, and business law, with at least three years of experience in real estate litigation. This role requires a deep understanding of land use, title insurance, and business law.

Duties

• Write and review title abstracts, summaries, and commitments, as well as various legal agreements and documents.
• Coordinate due diligence and inspect legal documents for risk, completion, and accuracy.
• Provide sound legal advice considering clients' circumstances and desired outcomes.
• Interface with city boards and agencies to manage zoning issues and obtain permits.
• Represent clients at real estate closings, disputes, and litigation.

Requirements

• Superb negotiation, networking, research, and communication skills.
• Current law license in the state and membership in the local bar association.
• Atleast three years of experience as a real estate attorney or in a related legal role.
• Working knowledge of title insurance, land use, and real estate law.
• Proficient with computers.

Education

• Juris Doctor (JD) degree from an accredited law school.

Certifications

• Licensed to practice law in the state.
