Healthcare Attorney

Job Overview: A law firm is seeking a skilled Healthcare Attorney with a strong background in healthcare law and compliance. The ideal candidate will possess at least 5 years of relevant experience and be well-versed in healthcare regulations. Admission to practice law in California and/or Arizona is preferred, though consideration will be given to candidates admitted in other states.

Duties:

• Provide legal counsel and representation to healthcare clients on a variety of matters.
• Conduct legal research on healthcare regulations and compliance issues.
• Draft and review contracts, agreements, and other legal documents related to healthcare transactions.
• Stay abreast of changes in healthcare laws and regulations to ensure clients' compliance.
• Represent clients in negotiations, hearings, and other legal proceedings.

Requirements:

• Minimum of 5 years of experience in healthcare law.
• Prior experience in healthcare compliance is highly desirable.
• Admission to practice law in California and/or Arizona is preferred.
• Admission in other states may be considered.
• Strong understanding of federal and state healthcare regulations.

Education:

• Juris Doctor (JD) degree from an accredited law school.

Certifications:

• Certification in Healthcare Compliance (preferred but not mandatory).

Skills:

• Excellent legal research and analytical skills.
• Strong written and verbal communication skills.
• Ability to work independently and collaboratively.
• Attention to detail and a high level of accuracy.
• Proficient in legal software and tools.
• Negotiation and dispute resolution skills.
