Job Title: Family Attorney

Job Overview:
A well-established Arizona-based law firm is extending its services to Yuma and seeks a dedicated Family Law Attorney or an experienced attorney-paralegal team to lead and expand its local presence. Duties:

• Draft and manage legal documents, including pleadings, motions, settlement agreements, and court orders

• Oversee asset division matters, including real property, during dissolution of marriage cases

• Represent clients in mediation and courtroom litigation

• Maintain organized and current client files throughout the case lifecycle

• Collaborate with legal support staff to ensure efficient case management and optimal client experience

Requirements:

• Active license to practice law in Arizona

• Minimum of 1-2 years of direct experience handling family law matters

• Background in the real estate division as part of family law proceedings

• Exceptional communication and conflict resolution skills

• Demonstrated ability to work independently and in a fast-paced legal environment

Education:

• Juris Doctor (J.D.) degree from an accredited institution

• Undergraduate degree in any field, with preference for legal or social science backgrounds

Certifications:

• Membership in good standing with the Arizona State Bar

• Involvement with legal professional organizations, such as the ABA preferred

Skills:

• Strong negotiation capabilities in emotionally charged contexts

• Ability to build rapport with clients navigating complex personal issues

• Tech-savvy with proficiency in modern legal tools and case management systems

• Collaborative mindset with leadership potential

• Detail-oriented with a process-driven approach to legal practice
