A law firm is seeking an Intellectual Property Litigation Associate to join its growing IP practice. Location:

• Washington D.C.

Duties:

• Focus on patent litigation and represent clients in related legal proceedings.

• Draft and review legal documents, including briefs, motions, and discovery requests.

• Conduct legal research and provide strategic insights on patent law issues.

• Collaborate with a team of professionals and contribute to case strategies.

• Maintain a hybrid work schedule, with 2-3 days in the office.

• Work with national and international clients to resolve intellectual property matters.

Requirements:

• 1 to 3 years of intellectual property litigation experience.

• Experience as a federal judicial law clerk is highly encouraged.

• Strong written and oral communication skills.

• Ability to manage multiple cases and meet deadlines.

• Collaborative and client-focused mindset.

Education:

• Juris Doctor (JD) from an accredited law school.

• Strong academic credentials.

Certifications:

• Admission to the relevant state bar.

Skills:

• Expertise in patent litigation.

• Background in electrical engineering, computer engineering, or computer science is strongly preferred.

• Strong research, writing, and analytical skills.

• Ability to communicate complex legal concepts clearly and effectively.

• Ability to thrive in a collaborative, team-oriented environment.
