Job Overview

A law firm seeks a motivated attorney with a minimum of two years of litigation experience to join their Professional Liability Group in Hackensack, NJ. Candidates with experience in professional liability (non-medical) and employment practices liability matters are strongly preferred.

Duties

• Handle complex litigation matters within a collegial, fast-paced team.
• Manage discovery, including document review and drafting responses.
• Draft and argue dispositive and non-dispositive motions.

Requirements

• Admission to the New York Bar (required if practicing in NY).
• Admission to the New Jersey Bar (required if practicing in NJ).
• Strong legal research and writing skills.

Education

• Juris Doctor (JD) degree from an accredited law school.

Certifications

• Bar admission in relevant state(s).

Skills

• Proven ability to manage discovery processes.
• Strong drafting and argumentation skills for motions.
