A well-established Texas-based law firm is actively seeking a Corporate Attorney to join its Corporate and Securities Practice Group in the Houston (Galleria) office. This role is ideal for an experienced attorney with a strong background in M&A, private equity, finance, entity structuring, and securities work. The position offers direct client interaction, complex transactional exposure, and the opportunity to work with a collegial, forward-thinking legal team in a supportive and flexible work environment.

Duties

• Handle corporate transactional matters including:

  • Mergers and acquisitions

  • Private equity investments

  • Entity formation and structuring

  • Recapitalizations and finance transactions

  • Commercial contract drafting and review

  • Joint ventures and corporate governance

  • Private securities offerings

• Communicate directly with clients and advise on legal and strategic issues

• Manage legal documentation and oversee deal execution

• Coordinate with internal teams across practice areas

Requirements

• Minimum of 7 years of experience practicing in corporate and/or securities law

• Proven ability to independently manage complex legal transactions

• Familiarity with corporate work for real estate investment firms is a plus

Education

• Juris Doctor (JD) from an accredited law school

Certifications

• Active license to practice law in the State of Texas
