Senior Counsel - Litigation, Labor & Employment Attorney

The candidate will oversee the Company’s litigation and assist in the administration and development of the Company’s Compliance Program in North America. Assist in investigations, preparing and reviewing communications, policies and procedures and identifying areas for continued improvement. Advise HR and management on day-to-day employment law and labor relations issues including hiring; employee relations; discipline and terminations; recruiting; compliance with employment laws; EEO complaints; and benefits. Advise the businesses on key areas of compliance. Oversee and manage outside counsel on all litigation, compliance/claims and disputes. Provide leadership, guidance and support on compliance and ethics issues, including policy interpretation and compliance risk assessment. Develop and deliver training to supervisors and managers on a variety of legal topics, including employment and compliance matters. Clear, succinct verbal and written communication skills are required. Able to work effectively with all levels of management, manage multiple projects and meet deadlines with consistently high-quality work product. Other tasks as may be assigned by the General Counsel. J.D. from an ABA accredited law school and membership in good standing in one State Bar is required. Should have 5+ years of legal practice focused on labor and employment issues. Experience at a top tier law firm with some in-house is preferred.
