Duties

• Draft pleadings, motions, briefs, and discovery documents with precision.
• Conduct depositions and manage discovery processes.
• Perform legal research and apply case law and statutes.
• Appear at depositions, hearings, trials, and conferences statewide.
• Negotiate settlements and consent judgments.
• Evaluate and communicate risk and strategy to clients.
• Collaborate with client witnesses and loan processors.
• Maintain accurate time records and provide monthly updates.
• Communicate with opposing counsel and court staff.
• Travel throughout Florida for hearings and trials.
• Utilize technology for efficient file management.

Requirements

• Active Florida Bar membership in good standing.
• Minimum of 3 years of experience in mortgage foreclosure litigation.
• Experience in contested matters and trials preferred.
• Ability to draft sophisticated legal documents.
• Proven ability to conduct depositions and manage discovery.
• Strong command of Florida foreclosure statutes and case law.
• Excellent verbal communication and advocacy skills.
• Capacity to manage a substantial caseload independently.
• Availability for statewide travel.

Education

• Juris Doctor (JD) degree from an accredited law school.

Certifications

• Active membership in the Florida Bar.
