A law firm seeks a Staff Attorney to join its Advertising team in Washington, DC. The role involves supporting a dynamic practice representing major national and international brands across a broad range of advertising, marketing, and promotional matters.

Duties

• Advise clients on advertising and marketing law, including claim substantiation and consumer protection.
• Ensure compliance with federal and state regulatory requirements.
• Handle sweepstakes, promotions, and influencer marketing matters.
• Review advertising and marketing materials for legal compliance.
• Support clients in FTC, FDA, and state attorney general investigations.
• Engage in proceedings before NAD, NARB, and CARU.

Requirements

• 5 to 7+ years of experience in advertising and marketing law.
• Experience with consumer products, retail, technology, or media industries preferred.
• Strong analytical, drafting, and client counseling skills.

Education

• Juris Doctor (JD) degree required.

Certifications

• Admission to the bar in at least one U.S. jurisdiction.
