Senior, International Core of Excellence (ICE)

The candidate will advise the U.S. and foreign multinational companies (MNC) on the tax implications of their international operations as well as coordinating U.S. tax laws with foreign tax laws to develop an optimal worldwide tax strategy. The individual has in-depth, first-hand experience in a wide range of industries. They are familiar with the tax consulting process and have the professionalism necessary for the effective diagnosis, solution, development, and implementation of clients' tax needs. Direct complex tax research, formulate tax-planning strategies, and perform tax reviews. Utilize their knowledge of the home country and International Tax Laws to concentrate efforts on a variety of international compliance, research, consulting, and planning issues. Provide home country tax services to the firm's MNCs and will interface and coordinate with the home country and US firm's International Tax practices and GSC lead tax partners to deliver high-value tax-savings ideas to the firm's clients. Generate revenue based on the sale of these services and will develop tax-savings ideas as they relate to US-home country taxes. Use their expertise in home country taxation to assist international corporate clients. They have the extensive proven technical expertise and have developed a reputation within this organization. Assist with complex tax projects for clients in diverse industries. Team on engagements requiring tax analysis for a variety of companies and their affiliates. Research, analysis, and collaboration with engagement teams on a wide range of tax issues. Support country Desk Leader in his/her role to identify service opportunities, manage client accounts and billing, and advance various Deloitte initiatives. Collaborate with both US and home country tax teams on client engagements and marketing opportunities. Supervise assignments of the Consultants assigned to the home country tax desk.
