A law firm seeks a Capital Markets Associate in New York. The ideal candidate will have 3-6 years of legal experience in structured finance, particularly with residential mortgage-backed securities (RMBS). Duties

• Draft, review, and negotiate transaction documents for RMBS and other structured finance transactions.
• Prepare and review legal opinions and transaction closing deliverables.
• Assist with deal structuring and advise clients on legal and regulatory considerations.
• Communicate with clients and transaction counterparties.
• Work collaboratively to manage all aspects of the practice.

Requirements

• 3-6 years of legal experience in structured finance.
• Strong preference for a New York-based attorney.
• Must be licensed to practice law in the State of New York.

Education

• Juris Doctor (JD) from an accredited law school.

Certifications

• Licensed to practice law in New York.
