Duties
- Advise on pre-immigration and expatriation tax planning.
- Handle cross-border investments and international information reporting.
- Ensure FATCA and CRS compliance.
- Manage U.S. withholding tax matters, including FIRPTA.
- Advise on offshore private placement life insurance and annuity contracts.
Requirements
- 3 to 5 years of relevant experience.
- Must reside in the Miami area at or prior to the time of hire.
- Expected to work in the office at least three business days per week.
Education
- JD from an ABA Accredited Law School.
- LL.M. in Tax preferred.
Certifications
- Must be licensed or ready to become licensed to practice law in Florida.
Skills
- Experience in income tax planning.
- Corporate experience is a plus.
