This role involves advocating for clients in contested wills, trust litigation, and cases involving the financial abuse of vulnerable individuals. Duties:

• Represent clients in probate and trust litigation, including will contests and fiduciary disputes.
• Handle cases involving conservatorships and guardianships.
• Advocate for individuals affected by financial exploitation and elder abuse.
• Conduct legal research, draft pleadings, and manage discovery processes.
• Engage in negotiations, mediation, and court proceedings.
• Provide strategic legal counsel to clients regarding estate-related conflicts.
• Collaborate with colleagues on complex litigation matters.

Requirements:

• Licensed attorney in Oregon or Washington, with a strong background in litigation.
• Minimum of 8 years of relevant legal experience.
• Proven trial experience in probate, trust, or estate-related litigation.
• Strong advocacy skills, including courtroom presentation and negotiation.

Education:

• Juris Doctor (J.D.) from an accredited law school.

Certifications:

• Active bar membership in Oregon or Washington.
