A law firm in Ft. Lauderdale, FL, is seeking a Professional Liability Associate Attorney with 2-5 years of legal experience. The ideal candidate should have a strong interest in various areas of Professional Liability, including attorney malpractice, broker errors and omissions, and architects and engineers errors and omissions. Strong analytical, writing, research, and communication skills are highly valued for this position.

Job Details:

• Handle cases involving professional liability matters such as attorney malpractice, broker errors and omissions, and architects and engineers errors and omissions.
• Conduct legal research and analysis related to cases and issues.
• Draft legal documents including pleadings, motions, discovery requests, and responses.
• Prepare for and attend hearings, depositions, arbitrations, and mediations.
• Communicate effectively with clients, colleagues, and third parties involved in the cases.
• Collaborate with senior attorneys and partners on case strategy and execution.
• Maintain organized case files and documentation.

Requirements:

• Juris Doctor (JD) degree from an accredited law school.
• Admission to the Bar in Florida.
• 2-5 years of legal experience, preferably in Professional Liability or related areas.
• Experience handling cases from inception through resolution.
• Strong analytical skills and attention to detail.
• Excellent writing, research, and communication skills.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
• Demonstrated ability to manage multiple priorities and deadlines effectively.
