Job Overview:
A distinguished law firm located in Bradenton, FL, is seeking a motivated Associate Attorney to join its Business Litigation team. Duties:

• Handle and manage business litigation matters under supervision

• Conduct initial file assessments and legal research

• Draft pleadings, discovery requests/responses, and pretrial motions

• Participate in depositions and client/witness interviews

• Prepare for and attend court hearings

• Assist with negotiation and resolution of disputes

• Support attorneys in preparation for trial and other litigation milestones

Requirements:

• 0-5 years of experience practicing law, preferably in civil or commercial litigation

• Active admission to The Florida Bar or eligibility for admission in the near term

• Demonstrated interest in business and commercial litigation

• Strong organizational, analytical, and communication skills

• Ability to manage multiple tasks while meeting deadlines

Education:

• Juris Doctor (J.D.) from an accredited law school

Certifications:

• Member in good standing with The Florida Bar (or pending admission)

Skills:

• Proficiency in legal research and writing

• Confidence in courtroom and deposition settings

• Excellent interpersonal and negotiation abilities

• Detail-oriented with sound judgment

• Capable of working collaboratively within a litigation team
