The ideal candidate will provide legal counsel and representation to employers on all aspects of employment law and labor relations matters. Responsibilities will include advising clients on applicable laws and regulations, defending clients in administrative proceedings, and representing them in state and federal court when necessary. Location:

Duties:

• Provide legal counsel and training to employers on employment law and labor relations matters.
• Defend clients in administrative proceedings before government agencies.
• Represent clients in state and federal court when necessary.
• Advise on compliance with employment laws and regulations.
• Collaborate with clients to develop strategies for handling employment-related issues.

Requirements:

• Member of the New York State Bar.
• Minimum of 3 years of experience in labor and employment law.
• Strong writing, research, and communication skills.
• Ability to effectively advocate for clients in administrative and court proceedings.
• Collaborative and team-oriented approach to legal practice.

Education:

• Juris Doctor (J.D.) from an ABA-accredited law school.

Certifications:

• Active attorney license in New York.

Skills:

• In-depth knowledge of labor and employment law.
• Excellent legal research and writing abilities.
