This full-time position is ideal for a motivated legal professional who is well-versed in defending workers' compensation and personal injury claims. Location:

• Chicago, IL

Duties:

• Represent clients in workers' compensation defense matters

• Handle all aspects of case management, including discovery, depositions, hearings, and trial preparation

• Communicate with clients, opposing counsel, medical professionals, and expert witnesses

• Develop case strategies and negotiate settlements

• Ensure timely and accurate billable hour tracking (2000-hour requirement)

Requirements:

• Minimum of 2 years of experience in workers' compensation and personal injury defense

• Proven ability to manage a litigation caseload independently

• Strong organizational and case management skills

• Willingness to meet billing expectations in a high-performance legal environment

Education:

• Juris Doctor (J.D.) from an accredited law school

Certifications:

• Active license to practice law in Indiana (required)

• Illinois bar admission (preferred but not required)

Skills:

• Excellent written and verbal communication

• Strong analytical and legal research capabilities
