Job Overview

A law firm seeks a Debt Finance Associate to join its Finance Practice Group in Boston, MA. The associate will engage in a variety of debt finance transactions, including drafting, negotiating, and executing financing documents, and advising on credit facilities.

Duties

• Support a broad range of debt finance transactions.
• Draft, negotiate, and execute financing and ancillary documentation.
• Advise on credit facilities and financing arrangements.
• Collaborate with partners and attorneys across practice groups.
• Interact directly with clients and manage day-to-day transaction aspects.
• Assist in moving matters forward from initiation through closing.

Requirements

• 3-6 years of debt finance transactional experience.
• Strong drafting, analytical, and organizational skills.
• Ability to manage multiple matters effectively.
• Strong interpersonal and communication skills.
• Sound professional judgment and client service orientation.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.

Education

• JD from an ABA-accredited law school.

Certifications

• Active member in good standing of the Bar in the jurisdiction(s) where admitted.
• Timely admission to the Bar of the hiring office's state required.
