Assistant Professor - Fall 2016

The candidate will teach undergraduate courses in Legal Environment of Business and related undergraduate business law courses. Will actively participate in scholarly activities sufficient to maintain appropriate faculty qualifications under AACSB standards, to engage in extensive student engagement, and to contribute in the area of service to the college, their profession, and the community. Should have a J.D. degree from an ABA accredited law school. Should be licensed to practice law in at least one State in the US. Preference will be given to candidate with at least 18 graduate credit hours in at least one of the following fields: Accounting, Taxation, Finance, Business Communications, or Management. The graduate credit hour requirement may be met by a variety of degrees: M.Acc., M.Tax, M.S. Accounting, LL.M. in Tax, M.S. Finance, MBA, etc. Preference will also be given to candidate with prior teaching experience at the undergraduate or graduate level. Prior experience practicing law in a business related area of legal practice for 3+ years is strongly preferred.
