A law firm seeks a Mid-Level Renewable Energy Transactions Associate Attorney to join their Energy, Environmental, Mining, and Transportation Division in Tampa, FL. The successful candidate will engage in diverse renewable energy work, including project development, commercial, financing, and transactional practice areas.

Duties

• Collaborate with attorneys in the Renewable Energy group.
• Engage in project development and transactional work.
• Negotiate, draft, and close complex commercial agreements.
• Advise on tax credit matters, including ITCs and PTCs.

Requirements

• 5-7 years of experience in renewable or conventional energy transactions.
• Experience in mergers and acquisitions, financing, real estate, and/or project development.
• Strong writing, analytical, organizational, and communication skills.
• Licensed to practice in or eligible for admission without examination in Florida.

Education

• Juris Doctor (JD) degree from an accredited law school.

Certifications

• Licensed to practice law in Florida or eligible for admission without examination.

Skills

• Proficiency in negotiating and drafting complex agreements.
• Familiarity with tax credit matters is a plus.
