Job Description

Your Responsibilities

as Head of SW Experience

Define and implement the GE Healthcare SW Experience design strategy, processes, best practices and principles that will guide the development of our products & solutions portfolio and that will scale our SW experience design approach & delivery for the company

Proactively collaborate with other stakeholders on all levels in and outside of the company and connect with them regularly to align on Portfolio planning, Roadmaps, Strategy, Budget as well as Experience Design projects

Enable and lead your teams to optimally work towards our Northstar of a coherent and delightful, best-in-class portfolio experience for GEHC and to optimize the complete value streams for strategic SW experience design across the company. Create a high-performing team culture where people are happy, highly engaged, and skilled.

Guide the design deliverables of your teams to meet our business objectives and to delight our customers, including use of and input to our SW Design System

Elaborate, drive, and implement product-overarching experience concepts and principles to support our customers’ daily practice, workflows and care paths seamlessly

Reinforce a strong design culture — a culture that is guided by:

Igniting curiosity and exploration of business and customer needs

Embracing the importance of agile & lean methodologies: quick iterations, continuous testing, improvements, learning, and innovations

Radical collaboration, mindfulness, humor, creativity, empathy, and trust

Your Experience

as Head of SW Experience

Bachelor’s Degree in Interaction Design, Psychology, or in “STEM” Majors (Science, Technology, Engineering, and Math) or related field

15 years of design experience, at least 10 years leading design functions

proven experience of working with executive-level stakeholders and managing large portfolio of projects

Extensive experience collaborating with diverse and cross-functional teams in a dynamic and global environment.

Experience in the healthcare industry desired
