Job Overview:
A law firm seeks a detail-oriented and proactive Associate Attorney to join its legal team in Havertown, PA. This position provides the opportunity to handle a variety of legal matters, including civil litigation, trial and appellate court writing, workers’ compensation, Social Security Disability claims, and personal injury cases. The ideal candidate will demonstrate exceptional legal research and writing skills, as well as a strong ability to manage a diverse caseload.

Duties:

• Conduct in-depth legal research to support case strategies.

• Draft legal documents, including pleadings, motions, and client correspondence.

• Negotiate settlements and advocate for clients in hearings and proceedings.

• Stay informed on changes in case law and legal precedents.

• Collaborate with senior attorneys on complex legal matters.

• Provide sound legal counsel to clients and maintain strong client relationships.

Requirements:

• Must be licensed to practice law in Pennsylvania.

• Strong analytical, research, and writing skills.

• Ability to manage a diverse and evolving caseload.

• Experience in civil litigation, workers' compensation, or personal injury law is a plus.

Education:

• Juris Doctor (JD) degree from an accredited law school.

Certifications:

• Active Pennsylvania Bar License (Required).

Skills:

• Proficiency in legal research and case analysis.
