A prominent and award-winning law firm is seeking a skilled Insurance Coverage Associate Attorney to join its litigation and insurance coverage practice. Location:

• Islandia, NY

Duties:

• Review insurance policies and draft detailed coverage opinions

• Analyze and respond to tenders under personal and commercial liability policies

• Draft and respond to pleadings, motions, and discovery in declaratory judgment actions

• Handle all aspects of insurance coverage litigation, including trial preparation and trial

• Manage and prioritize a caseload independently

• Communicate effectively with clients and insurance carriers

• Work on matters involving New York labor law claims and related insurance issues under commercial general liability (CGL) policies

Requirements:

• Minimum of 3 years of experience in insurance coverage matters and litigation

• Proven ability to manage files independently from inception to resolution

• Experience in reviewing and analyzing complex insurance policies

• Familiarity with issues arising from construction litigation and CGL coverage

• Knowledge of both state and federal court practices, particularly in New York

Education:

• Juris Doctor (JD) from an ABA-accredited law school

Certifications:

• Admission to the New York State Bar (in good standing)

• Admission to federal courts in New York
