Duties:

• Represent clients in family law cases, including but not limited to divorce, child custody, spousal support, and property division.
• Draft legal documents, such as pleadings, motions, agreements, and other necessary legal paperwork.
• Conduct thorough legal research and remain up-to-date on relevant changes in family law.
• Appear in court hearings and trials, presenting cases effectively and advocating for clients.
• Provide legal advice and strategic guidance to clients throughout the legal process.
• Collaborate with paralegals, legal assistants, and other staff to ensure efficient case management and optimal client service.

Requirements:

• Juris Doctor (JD) degree from an accredited law school.
• Active admission to the state bar and in good standing.
• At least 3 years of experience in family law litigation.
• Proven ability to manage multiple cases simultaneously and meet strict deadlines.
• Strong research, writing, and analytical skills.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively with clients and colleagues.
• A commitment to providing compassionate and high-quality legal representation.

Education:

• Juris Doctor (JD) from an accredited law school.

Certifications:

• Admission to the State Bar in New Mexico (or eligibility for admission).

Skills:

• Expertise in family law and related legal practices.
• Strong legal research and writing capabilities.
• Courtroom experience, including trial preparation and presentation.
• Strong interpersonal and communication skills for client interaction and team collaboration.
