Spring Law Clerkship
The candidate will develop an understanding of the issues facing persons with disabilities, especially those in under-served and under-resourced communities, and gain exposure to the variety of advocacy methods that may be used to resolve them. Under the mentorship and supervision of legal staff, clerks: Research novel areas of disability law and write legal and policy memoranda; Contribute to analysis and development of disability policy; Work directly with clients, participating in individual case advocacy; and Gain exposure to impact litigation and/or policy analysis. Work for 8-10 hours a week. Should have exemplary research, writing, and interpersonal skills. Demonstrated commitment to promoting and protecting the rights of adults and children with disabilities and/or public interest law is preferred.
