A law firm seeks a highly motivated Trademark Associate to join their team in Minneapolis, MN. The ideal candidate will have 3-6 years of experience in U.S. and international trademark prosecution, portfolio management, and enforcement.

Duties

• Conduct trademark searches and assess clearance.
• Prepare and prosecute trademark applications before the USPTO.
• Manage TTAB proceedings, including oppositions and cancellations.
• Draft and respond to cease-and-desist letters.
• Advise on trademark use, policing, and brand protection strategies.
• Handle copyright and domain name matters, including UDRPs.

Requirements

• 3-6 years of experience in trademark prosecution and enforcement.
• Strong research, writing, and communication skills.
• Proven client-management abilities.
• Ability to work independently and collaboratively.
• High attention to detail and excellent organizational skills.

Education

• Juris Doctor (JD) degree from an accredited law school.

Certifications

• Active bar membership in good standing.
