Job Overview:
A distinguished national law firm is seeking a Staff Attorney with 3–5 years of litigation experience to join its Insurance Bad Faith practice. This role involves representing clients in high-stakes litigation, particularly first-party insurance disputes. The ideal candidate will have strong litigation experience, including motion practice, case management, and courtroom advocacy. This position offers the flexibility of a hybrid schedule, with potential for fully remote work following successful onboarding and performance assessment.

Duties:
Handle first-party insurance and bad faith litigation matters
Represent clients—preferably insurance carriers—in complex coverage disputes
Draft and argue motions, pleadings, and related court documents
Develop case strategy and manage matters from inception through resolution
Appear in state and federal courts as needed
Meet strict deadlines while maintaining high work quality
Collaborate with other attorneys in the litigation group
Requirements:
3–5 years of litigation experience
Specific background in first-party insurance and bad faith litigation
Prior experience representing insurance carriers strongly preferred
Ability to independently manage legal tasks and follow through consistently
Demonstrated reliability and high professional standards
Willingness to work in a hybrid environment; fully remote arrangements possible post-onboarding
Education:
Juris Doctor (J.D.) degree from an accredited law school
Certifications:
Active bar admission in the state of Texas
Skills:
Strong legal writing and oral advocacy skills
Effective litigation strategy development and implementation
Ability to meet tight deadlines without compromising quality
Familiarity with local state and federal court procedures
Strong organizational and project management skills
Self-motivated with excellent follow-through
