Job Overview
A law firm seeks an experienced Family Law Attorney in McLean, VA. The successful candidate will join a dynamic team, handling diverse family law and fiduciary matters. Duties
- Conduct legal research and analysis on various family law issues.
- Assist senior attorneys in drafting pleadings, motions, briefs, and other legal documents.
- Interview clients to gather relevant information and assist in case strategy development.
- Attend court hearings, mediation sessions, and other legal proceedings as necessary.
Requirements
- Juris Doctor (J.D.) degree from an accredited law school.
- Admission to the VA state bar; DC and MD admissions are a plus.
- Minimum of three years of experience practicing family law, including hands-on experience with divorce, child custody, support, and other family law matters.
- Strong research, writing, and analytical skills.
- Judicial clerkship experience is preferred.
Education
- Juris Doctor (J.D.) degree from an accredited law school.
Certifications
- Admission to the VA state bar; DC and MD admissions are a plus.
