Job Overview

A law firm seeks an experienced Family Law Attorney in McLean, VA. The successful candidate will join a dynamic team, handling diverse family law and fiduciary matters. This role offers the opportunity to work closely with multiple partners and assume significant responsibility in a growing practice.

Duties

• Conduct legal research and analysis on various family law issues.
• Assist senior attorneys in drafting pleadings, motions, briefs, and other legal documents.
• Interview clients to gather relevant information and assist in case strategy development.
• Attend court hearings, mediation sessions, and other legal proceedings as necessary.

Requirements

• Juris Doctor (J.D.) degree from an accredited law school.
• Admission to the VA state bar; DC and MD admissions are a plus.
• Minimum of three years of experience practicing family law, including hands-on experience with divorce, child custody, support, and other family law matters.
• Strong research, writing, and analytical skills.
• Judicial clerkship experience is preferred.

Education

• Juris Doctor (J.D.) degree from an accredited law school.

Certifications

• Admission to the VA state bar; DC and MD admissions are a plus.
