Job Overview

A law firm seeks a highly qualified Associate in Washington, D.C. to join their Asset Management Transactions practice group. The ideal candidate will have a minimum of 4 years of experience in asset management M&A, including GP stakes and control asset management transactions.

Duties

• Execute corporate transactions involving asset managers and financial services businesses.
• Advise a diverse array of clients, including private equity firms and financial institutions.
• Engage in M&A and investment fund transactions.
• Participate in joint venture and management team spin-out transactions.
• Handle corporate restructurings and succession planning.

Requirements

• Minimum of 4 years of experience in asset management M&A.
• Experience with GP stakes and control asset management transactions.

Education

• Juris Doctor (JD) degree from an accredited law school.

Certifications

• Bar admission in good standing.

Skills
