A law firm seeks an experienced Personal Injury Attorney to join their team in Nashville, Tennessee. The successful candidate will possess strong litigation skills, manage multiple cases, and provide excellent client service. This role involves occasional travel to Houston and offers the chance to work with a dynamic team in a nationally expanding firm.

Duties

• Represent clients throughout all phases of litigation, from intake to resolution.
• Draft and review pleadings, complaints, motions, and discovery responses.
• Direct and monitor the probate process in coordination with docket managers.
• Review, analyze, and summarize medical records and case-related documentation.
• Communicate with clients regularly to provide updates and resolve issues.
• Collaborate with co-counsel, opposing counsel, and other law firms involved in litigation.
• Participate in depositions, mediations, and hearings as needed.
• Contribute to process improvements by refining documented procedures.
• Provide assistance with overflow tasks and special projects as required.

Requirements

• Juris Doctor (JD) degree and active Tennessee State Bar membership required.
• Minimum of 3 years of experience in personal injury litigation or probate.
• Proven ability to handle depositions, hearings, and mediations preferred.
• Strong client-facing communication skills and ability to build rapport with clients.
• Exceptional organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple priorities.
• Strong writing, research, and analytical skills.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite; PACER and Excel experience helpful.

Education

• Juris Doctor (JD) degree.

Certifications

• Active Tennessee State Bar membership.
