A law firm seeks a remote, full-time attorney licensed in South Carolina to manage consumer debt resolution files and consult with clients. This position is based in Southfield, MI, but allows for telecommuting from any location.

Duties

• Provide legal assistance and handle telephone consultations.
• Oversee settlements and conduct file reviews.
• Review and approve legal documents prepared by paralegals.
• Engage with clients to explain the debt resolution process.

Requirements

• Licensed and in good standing with the South Carolina state bar.
• Experience in consumer debt defense and/or collections preferred.
• Comfortable with high volume client interaction and customer service.
• Proficient in using computers and basic software.

Education

• Juris Doctor (JD) degree.

Certifications

• Licensed attorney in South Carolina.
