A law firm seeks two associate attorneys to join its growing practice in Los Angeles, California. The first position is for a trial attorney, while the second is for a pre-trial litigation attorney with strong experience in law and motion and trial documents.

Duties

• Conduct legal research and analysis on various legal issues.
• Draft legal documents, including pleadings, motions, contracts, and agreements.
• Assist with negotiations and settlement discussions.
• Prepare for and participate in hearings, trials, and other legal proceedings.
• Collaborate with senior attorneys to develop case strategies.
• Maintain accurate and up-to-date case files and documentation.
• Provide legal advice and guidance to clients.
• Perform other legal administrative tasks as assigned.

Requirements

• Juris Doctor (J.D.) degree from an accredited law school.
• Admitted to practice law in the relevant jurisdiction.
• Strong legal research and writing skills.
• Proficient in legal drafting and document preparation.
• Ability to negotiate effectively on behalf of clients.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• Familiarity with Westlaw and Lexis-Nexis for legal research purposes.
• Ability to work independently as well as part of a team.
• Detail-oriented with strong organizational skills.

Education

• Juris Doctor (J.D.) degree from an accredited law school.

Certifications

• Bar admission in the relevant jurisdiction.
