  • Stay current with changes in securities laws, regulations, and market trends to provide clients with up-to-date advice.

Qualifications and Experience:

  • At least 8 years of legal experience, with a strong focus on fund formation and public/private securities transactions.
  • Proven success in managing and executing complex fund formation and securities offerings for corporate clients.
  • An established book of business with significant client relationships in the fund formation and securities sector.
  • Previous leadership or partnership experience within a law firm is highly desirable.

Educational Background:

  • Active membership in good standing with the California State Bar.

Certifications:

  • Regular engagement in Continuing Legal Education (CLE) relevant to fund formation, securities law, and corporate transactions is preferred.

Skills and Abilities:

  • Extensive knowledge of federal and state securities laws, as well as the regulatory requirements for public and private offerings.
  • Superior negotiation and drafting skills, with an emphasis on structuring fund formation agreements and securities offering documents.
  • Strong client relationship management, with the ability to provide strategic, business-oriented legal advice to a diverse range of corporate clients.
  • Proven leadership abilities, with a focus on mentoring junior attorneys and building a collaborative, high-performing legal team.
  • Excellent communication skills, both written and oral, with the ability to explain complex legal issues to clients in a clear and concise manner.
  • Entrepreneurial mindset, with the ability to drive business development and grow the firm’s corporate practice.

Benefits:

  • Competitive 401(k) retirement plan with firm contributions.
  • Contributions to health and dental insurance.
  • Subsidized gym or fitness facility membership.
  • Disability insurance coverage.

What I liked about the service is that it had such a comprehensive collection of jobs! I was using a number of sites previously and this took up so much time, but in joining EmploymentCrossing, I was able to stop going from site to site and was able to find everything I needed on EmploymentCrossing.
