A law firm seeks a Civil Litigation Associate for the Landlord/Tenant Habitability Team in San Diego. The position involves working closely with lead attorneys on landlord and property management cases related to building safety and health code issues.

Duties

• Attend court hearings and participate in site inspections.
• Take and defend depositions.
• Draft and respond to written discovery, including interrogatories and document requests.
• Evaluate and execute litigation strategies.
• Manage client communications throughout litigation.

Requirements

• Juris Doctor (J.D.) degree.
• 3+ years of civil litigation experience.
• Active membership in the California State Bar and in good standing.
• Experience in civil litigation, preferably within a law firm setting.
• Excellent time management skills.

Education

• Juris Doctor (J.D.) degree.
