A law firm is seeking a Senior Lawyer for their Los Angeles, CA office. The Senior Lawyer will represent clients in court, supervise junior attorneys, and prepare legal documents.

Job Overview:

The Senior Lawyer will oversee legal proceedings, provide mentorship, and ensure effective conflict resolution. They will also handle a heavy caseload, research, draft legal documents, and present arguments in court.

Duties:

• Represent clients in court to argue motions during legal proceedings
• Supervise and mentor lower-level attorneys in proper conflict resolution techniques
• Prepare for and attend trials, mediation, and arbitration hearings
• Draft and review legal documents, including motions, pleadings, notices, and discovery requests and responses
• Conduct legal research and draft pleadings, briefs, and motions

Requirements:

• Bachelor's degree with a law degree from an accredited law school (LLM, JSD, or JD degree)
• Minimum 5 years of experience as a senior associate attorney
• An active member in good standing with local and State Bar Associations

Skills:

• Strong persuasive writing and verbal communication skills
• Ability to work independently while managing a heavy caseload
• Proficient in time management and interpersonal skills
