A law firm in New York City is seeking a Mid-Senior Level Associate Attorney with a minimum of 2.5 years of experience in structured credit, secured lending, structured lending, securitization, and/or CLOs. The ideal candidate should be a team-oriented individual ready to make immediate contributions to a market-leading practice.

Duties

• Conduct legal research and analysis related to structured credit, secured lending, structured lending, securitization, and CLO matters.
• Draft, review, and negotiate complex legal documents, contracts, and agreements.
• Provide legal counsel and advice to clients on financial and lending transactions.
• Assist in due diligence processes for various transactions and deals.
• Work closely with senior attorneys and partners to develop legal strategies.
• Attend meetings, hearings, and negotiations on behalf of clients.
• Stay updated on relevant laws and regulations impacting the practice area.

Requirements

• A Juris Doctor (JD) degree from an accredited law school.
• Active and in good standing with the New York State Bar.
• Minimum of 2.5 years of experience in structured credit, secured lending, structured lending, securitization, and/or CLOs.
• Proven track record of successfully handling complex legal matters.
• Strong analytical, research, and communication skills.
• Exceptional attention to detail and a commitment to accuracy.
• Ability to work both independently and as part of a collaborative team.
• Excellent time management and organizational skills.
• Demonstrated ability to handle a high level of responsibility and client interactions.

Education
