Duties

• Represent public school districts in labor, employment, and education law matters.
• Advocate, negotiate, and resolve legal issues for school clients and stakeholders.
• Draft legal memoranda, opinions, policies, discovery materials, and other documents.
• Attend Board of Education meetings.
• Participate in administrative hearings and labor arbitrations.

Requirements

• Strong work ethic and effective management of responsibilities.
• Solid organizational and case management abilities.
• Experience with public sector or education law preferred.
• Knowledge of labor and employment law in the public sector is advantageous.

Education

• Juris Doctor (J.D.) from an accredited law school.

Certifications

• Active membership in good standing with the New Jersey Bar.
