Job Overview:
A law firm based in Phoenix, AZ, is seeking an experienced attorney to join its elite litigation team, focusing on complex personal injury matters involving catastrophic injuries and wrongful death. This position is suited for a detail-oriented and strategic litigator with a background in high-stakes tort cases, including medical malpractice, product liability, or similar areas. The role involves working closely with a senior litigator on multi-layered, high-impact cases and offers a hybrid work arrangement to support in-office collaboration and remote flexibility.

Duties:

• Represent clients in serious personal injury matters, including traumatic brain injuries, paralysis, amputations, burns, and wrongful death.

• Conduct legal research and case analysis to craft a litigation strategy.

• Participate in discovery, depositions, pre-trial motions, and courtroom advocacy.

• Collaborate on trial strategy and work closely with senior attorneys in preparation for high-profile proceedings.

• Identify and retain top-tier expert witnesses.

• Draft compelling legal documents, including pleadings, briefs, and motions.

• Provide comprehensive client communication and guidance throughout the litigation process.

• Contribute to a case team dedicated to out-preparing the opposition and delivering superior results.

Requirements:

• Minimum of 5 years of litigation experience, ideally in catastrophic personal injury, medical malpractice, or product liability.

• Active license to practice law in Arizona or eligibility for reciprocity.

• Demonstrated success in managing complex cases through all stages of litigation.

• Proven ability to thrive in high-pressure legal environments.

• Dedication to client advocacy, with a deep sense of empathy and commitment to justice.

Education:

• Juris Doctor (JD) from an accredited law school.

Certifications:

• Admission to the State Bar of Arizona is required.
