A law firm is seeking a Mid-Level to Senior Debt Finance Associate Attorney for their New York City, NY office.

Job Overview:

• Contribute significantly to the strategic growth of the private credit, acquisition financing, special situations, restructuring, and private equity practices.
• Play a crucial role in deal teams, overseeing signings and closings, and drafting initial debt commitment papers and credit documentation.

Duties:

• Manage a diverse array of secured lending matters, including domestic and cross-border acquisitions, restructuring, reorganizations, and general corporate finance.
• Actively participate in direct lending, special situation financings, out-of-court and in-court restructurings, and private equity-related corporate finance transactions.

Requirements:

• Admission to and membership in good standing with the New York State Bar.
• 7-10 years of experience in debt finance or related fields.
• Preferred experience as a key member of deal teams with responsibility for signings, closings, and drafting initial documentation.

Education & Certifications:

Juris Doctor (JD) from an accredited law school.
