Duties:

• Conduct patent prosecution and portfolio management activities.
• Provide legal counsel on the freedom to operate and patent clearance issues.
• Handle licensing agreements and other technology transactions.
• Conduct due diligence related to mergers and acquisitions.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams and effectively manage multiple projects.

Requirements:

• Hold a degree in Electrical Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, Chemical Engineering, or a related field.
• 8-14 years of relevant experience in intellectual property law.
• Registered with the United States Patent and Trademark Office (USPTO).
• Excellent academic record and proficient writing skills.
• Strong interpersonal skills with the ability to work collaboratively within a team.
• Superior judgment and the ability to articulate legal strategies and courses of action.

Certifications:

• Active Bar license in Missouri (MO).

Skills:

• Proficient in patent prosecution and portfolio management.
• Knowledgeable in freedom to operate and patent clearance issues.
• Experience in drafting and negotiating licensing agreements.
