Duties

• Communicate effectively with clients, staff, opposing attorneys, and the court.
• Make court appearances.
• Prepare, review, and edit legal documents, including declarations, motions, and discovery.
• Audit and edit legal forms and documents for accuracy.
• Assist with case management and meeting deadlines.
• Prepare for hearings and trial preparations.
• Perform miscellaneous job duties related to the position.
• Efficient billing.

Requirements

• Licensed by California State Bar and in good standing.
• Minimum of one year of Family Law experience required.
• Thorough knowledge of legal principles and practices.
• Strong communication skills.
• Attention to detail and accuracy.
• Ability to maintain a high level of confidentiality.
• Proficient computer knowledge/skills.
• Proficient in Word Perfect, Word, Essential Forms, Google Calendar, and DissoMaster.
• Experience with Infusion Soft, TimeSolv, and Attorney's Briefcase a plus.
• Ability to handle multiple job duties effectively and efficiently.
• Reliable, dependable, with a positive, professional attitude and demeanor.

Education

• Juris Doctor degree.

Certifications

• Licensed by California State Bar.
