A law firm seeks a Senior Family Law Attorney in Orange County, CA. This role offers the opportunity to manage a sophisticated family law caseload with the support and infrastructure needed to practice at a high level in a remote-first environment.

Duties

• Manage divorce, custody, support, domestic violence, property division, and post-judgment matters.
• Develop case strategy and advise clients through complex legal issues.
• Draft pleadings, motions, declarations, and settlement agreements.
• Conduct discovery and manage litigation deadlines.
• Negotiate with opposing counsel.
• Appear at hearings, mediations, depositions, settlement conferences, and trials.
• Provide thoughtful, practical legal advice while maintaining exceptional client communication.

Requirements

• Juris Doctor from an accredited law school.
• Active California Bar membership in good standing.
• Minimum of five years of California family law experience.
• Residence in San Diego, Riverside, or Orange County.
• Proven ability to independently manage family law matters from intake through resolution.
• Strong courtroom advocacy, legal writing, negotiation, and litigation skills.
• Experience handling custody, support, domestic violence, property division, and related family law matters.
• Excellent client communication and professional judgment.
• Ability to collaborate effectively in a remote-first environment.
• Strong organizational skills and comfort with modern legal technology.

Education

• Juris Doctor from an accredited law school.

• Active California Bar membership in good standing.
