Duties:

• Provide expert legal advice and support on insurance coverage issues, including professional liability, general liability, and directors and officers insurance policies.
• Conduct comprehensive legal research and analysis related to insurance and reinsurance matters.
• Draft, review, and negotiate insurance policies, coverage disputes, and related legal documents.
• Represent clients in insurance coverage disputes, including litigation and arbitration.
• Develop and implement effective legal strategies to address complex insurance and reinsurance issues.
• Stay updated on industry trends, regulatory changes, and case law affecting insurance and reinsurance practices.
• Collaborate with clients, colleagues, and external parties to resolve coverage disputes and manage claims.
• Prepare and present legal arguments, motions, and briefs before courts and arbitration panels.
• Manage multiple insurance coverage matters concurrently, ensuring timely and effective resolution.

Requirements:

• Juris Doctor (J.D.) degree from an accredited law school.
• Admission to the Bar in Delaware.
• 2-5 years of experience in insurance coverage and commercial litigation.
• Proven understanding of insurance coverage issues under professional liability, general liability, and directors and officers insurance policies.
• Strong legal research and writing skills.
• Excellent academic credentials with a demonstrated ability to handle complex legal matters.
• Experience in managing insurance coverage disputes and litigation.

Education:

• Juris Doctor (J.D.) degree from an accredited law school.

Certifications:

• Admission to the Bar in Delaware.
