Duties

• Draft, review, and negotiate commercial leases, including retail, office, industrial, mixed-use, and ground leases.
• Advise clients on leasing strategy, risk mitigation, and portfolio management.
• Handle amendments, subleases, assignments, estoppels, SNDAs, and related agreements.
• Manage transactions from engagement through execution, maintaining proactive communication with clients and teams.
• Collaborate with real estate colleagues across U.S. and international offices.

Requirements

• J.D. from an accredited law school and bar admission in the preferred state.
• 10+ years of commercial leasing experience in a law firm or in-house legal department.
• Comprehensive understanding of leasing market terms and deal structures.
• Ability to manage multiple transactions in a fast-paced, client-focused environment.
• Strong drafting, negotiation, analytical, and communication skills.
• Experience with national or multi-state leasing portfolios preferred.

Education

• J.D. from an accredited law school.
