Job Overview

A law firm seeks an Associate Attorney to join its Litigation practice in Rogers, AR. The ideal candidate will have up to five years of experience in Health Care or Commercial Litigation and a keen interest in complex litigation matters. This role offers the opportunity to take a leading role in various cases while collaborating with experienced partners and clients. The position may be based in either Fayetteville or Rogers, Arkansas.

Duties

• Manage complex litigation matters in federal and state courts and arbitration forums.
• Handle client communications, motion practice, discovery, court appearances, mediations, and settlements.
• Take and defend fact and expert depositions.

Requirements

• Desire to take on substantive roles in cases, including hearings, depositions, and trials.
• Excellent oral and written communication skills.
• Strong research skills and strategic mindset.
• Self-motivated with a strong work ethic.
• Ability to balance multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.

Education

• Currently admitted to practice in Arkansas with an active bar license or able to be admitted within one year.
• Excellent academic credentials.

Certifications

• Active bar license in good standing.

Skills

• Experience in civil litigation preferred.
• Experience in complex business litigation, medical malpractice, product liability, or other tort litigation preferred.
