Strategic Partner Development Manager, Smart Home, Global Partnerships
The candidate will open doors with potential partners, lead exploratory discussions and evaluate/develop business opportunities. Lead cross-functional teams, provide thought leadership and serve as a mentor to managers and associates. Work with the firm Product, Engineering, Legal and Sales teams on new product initiatives and strategic relationships that support our online advertising business. Manage a set of partners by cultivating, developing, and maintaining strong relations. Execute on partner integrations, product launches, and go-to-market plans. Lead cross-functional deals with partners through collaboration with Product and other cross-functional teams (e.g., Engineering, Legal, Operations, Finance) and global/regional Business Development teams. Collaborate with Smart Home Product teams to design product roadmaps, launch and incubate product features with partners, improve existing product offerings, and identify product-enabling partnership opportunities. Develop and present strategic recommendations to leadership around growth, ecosystem initiatives, and competitive dynamics. Bachelor's degree or equivalent practical experience is required. MBA or JD degree is preferred. Should have 5+ years of experience in business development and operations, including 3+ years of experience at a technology platform company. Experience working in a business development or consulting capacity is required. Experience in negotiating agreements through execution is preferred. Experience using analytical insight and employing thoughtful structures to solve problems and communicate solutions is a plus.
