This position requires working with a team and advocating before state utility commissions, handling power transactions, and articulating legal strategies.

Duties:

• Advocate before the Texas Public Utility Commission and other state energy regulatory commissions.
• Handle regulatory and compliance matters related to energy regulation.
• Work on matters before or involving the Electric Reliability Council of Texas (ERCOT) and other ISO/RTOs or organized power markets.
• Participate in power transactions, including mergers, acquisitions, power sales, and related matters.
• Collaborate with a team of legal professionals.
• Articulate legal strategies and courses of action.

Requirements:

• 4-5 years of experience in energy transactional and/or regulatory litigation and compliance.
• Strong academic record.
• Active Bar license in Missouri (MO).

Education:

• Juris Doctor (JD) degree from an accredited law school.

Certifications:

• Active Bar license in Missouri (MO).
