Duties

• Manage caseload from intake through resolution, including will contests and trust validity challenges.
• Handle breach of fiduciary duty claims against trustees and executors.
• Oversee trust and estate accountings, surcharge actions, and beneficiary disputes.
• Conduct guardianship and conservatorship contested proceedings.
• Address elder financial exploitation and undue influence claims.
• Draft and oversee legal filings, discovery, and develop case strategy.

Requirements

• 1-3 years of litigation experience preferred.
• Trust and estate experience is a plus; strong civil litigation skills considered.
• Eager to manage own caseload and contribute as second chair on complex matters.
• Strong client-facing skills with clear, empathetic communication.
• Organized, detail-oriented, and proactive in case management.

Education

• Juris Doctor (JD) degree from an accredited law school.

Certifications

• Licensed to practice law in the state of Utah.
